What is a Heat Pump?

A heat pump is a device that transfers heat from one location to another using a small amount of energy. It operates on the principle of thermodynamics, which states that heat naturally flows from warmer areas to cooler areas. Heat pumps can extract heat from the air, ground, or water sources and transfer it to another location for heating or cooling purposes.

How Does Heat Pump Technology Work?

This vapor is then condensed, releasing the absorbed heat, and the refrigerant returns to its liquid state. The expansion valve reduces the pressure, and the cycle repeats.

In the cooling mode, the process is reversed. The heat pump extracts heat from the indoor environment and releases it outside, cooling the indoor space.
