ATW CO₂ Heat Pump for High-Temperature Heating and Hot Water
Our air source CO₂ heat pump is a high-temperature heating solution designed to efficiently produce hot water up to 120°C (248°F). Using naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO₂/R744) as the refrigerant, the system combines high-temperature performance with a lower-impact refrigerant option for commercial, industrial, and district energy applications.
Engineered to extract renewable heat from ambient air, the heat pump transfers that energy into water for space heating, process heating, domestic hot water, and district heating networks. Its ability to deliver high outlet temperatures makes it suitable for both new installations and projects requiring integration with existing high-temperature heating infrastructure.
Natural CO₂ Refrigerant
The system uses CO₂, also known as R744, a natural refrigerant with a very low global warming potential compared with many conventional synthetic refrigerants. This supports sustainability objectives and may help projects address evolving refrigerant regulations and environmental requirements.
